On the recent partnership, CrewTraka founder, Brett Miall said “I have always been involved in sport at many levels and still coach our local junior footy team. It was important to us at CrewTraka to show our support where possible and we couldn’t be happier to be the naming sponsor for the Southern Peninsula Sharks Youth League Men Team for the 2021 and 2022 seasons. We wish the team every success in the season. Go Sharks!”

The Southern Peninsula CrewTraka Youth League Men had a strong win over Chelsea this past weekend and have kicked the season off with a bang with two of the team starring in the top five highest average scorers in the league with Corey Hastings 3rd in the league on 23 points and Dan Munns not far behind on 22.75 points per game.

Two of the CrewTraka Youth League Men, Corey Hastings and Darcy Jones have recently returned from the Australian Junior Championships representing Victoria Country.

Jones finished the week off with 14.86 points per game, 2.29 rebounds per game and 1.86 assists per game.
In Hastings’ first outing representing his state he finished the week with an average of 13 points per game, 2.29 rebounds per game, 1 assist per game and shooting the ball at 40.48%.

The season so far has already seen a number of players play up in the club’s Jetty Road Brewery Senior Team, growing through the pathway at Southern Peninsula.
